How GLP-1 works
It treats the biology,
not the willpower.

GLP-1 medications mimic a hormone your body makes after eating. They help quiet appetite, slow digestion, and steady the cravings that make weight loss feel impossible — so the work your provider builds around you can actually hold.

Calms appetite and "food noise"
Slows digestion so you feel full longer
Dose titrated by a provider to limit side effects

Results vary by person and are not guaranteed. A licensed provider determines whether treatment is appropriate for you.

Medication photos are for illustration only — actual packaging may vary depending on the compounding pharmacy that prepares your medication. Compounded medications are prepared by independent, state-licensed compounding pharmacies; they are not FDA-approved and do not undergo FDA review for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality. Ozempic® is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes, not for weight loss; a licensed provider may prescribe it off-label when clinically appropriate, and the FDA has not evaluated it for weight management. VivioMD is not a pharmacy or manufacturer — it provides online access to board-certified providers and licensed pharmacies, together with support services.

Ask a clinician →
When will I start seeing results?
+
Everyone's body responds differently, so results vary and can't be guaranteed. Some members notice changes in the first few weeks; others take longer. Your clinician tracks your progress and adjusts your plan as needed. Results for compounded medications have not been established.
Is GLP-1 safe during or before pregnancy?
+
GLP-1 medications are not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and should be stopped before a planned pregnancy. Share your full history in your intake — your provider determines what's appropriate for you.
What treatments do you offer?
+
Vivio offers access to compounded GLP-1 treatments (semaglutide and tirzepatide) from licensed compounding pharmacies and to Ozempic® and Zepbound® from licensed pharmacies. Compounded products are not FDA-approved and do not undergo FDA review for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality. Ozempic® is not FDA-approved for weight loss or weight management. Additional information is provided in the “Is this FDA-approved?” section below. Whether any treatment is clinically appropriate for you is determined by a licensed provider.
Is this FDA-approved?
+
Compounded medications are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies and are not FDA-approved — they are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. We also offer FDA-approved Ozempic® and Zepbound®, dispensed by a licensed U.S. pharmacy.
Do you require insurance?
+
No insurance is needed. We accept major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and HSA/FSA. There are no hidden fees.
